Family Doctors and other Medical Specialist can also refer Patients to my Clinic

Family and friends can contact me for general enquiries, but they cannot themselves request an appointment for somebody else without a self-referral or referral from a Doctor.

 

As for any other medical Practice in Switzerland the costs are partly reimbursed by the mandatory Health Insurance Casssa Malati according to LAMal.

 

In Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, the cost is based on the contact time with the patient: In Tessin the current value is around CHF 200 per/hour. Medical certificate and other documents are invoiced separately.

 

It is important to notice that some Health Insurance contracts are valid only with a specific modality of access to the specialist Service such as the previous contact to the dedicated Call Center or a referral from the Family Doctor -

 

Furthermore, some contracts involve a deductible, so the Health Insurance would reimburse only after the deductible sum is passed. I recommend you finding out about these aspects before accessing the Service.
